Hi! I’m Rachel!
My perimenopause journey started when I was 36 years old, and I became postmenopausal at 43. At the time, I had no idea what perimenopause even was—or that I was experiencing it. Hot flashes every 2 hours, bloating for no reason, crippling fatigue that left me wanting to cry, weight gain (especially around my midsection), and an overwhelming sense of not recognizing the person I had once been. It was one of the hardest periods of my life, and it’s what pushed me to find answers.
Through lots of research, personal experimentation and trial and error, I discovered my approach to nutrition and fitness had to change. This led me to pursue two specialized certifications in peri and post-menopausal health. This knowledge not only allowed me to help myself but to also be able to help others through this transition.
I’ve been where you are, and I know what it’s like to feel lost and frustrated. That’s why I do what I do—because I want you to experience the same freedom I’ve found. The freedom to stop the dieting rollercoaster, to learn how to work with your body instead of fighting it, and ultimately to get back to the person you’ve always known.
